The Santa Ana Response Team was founded to assist the City of Santa Ana with auxiliary communications in the event of a disaster or to assist with public service event.
SART is affiliated with both RACES and ARES to enhance our ability to operate in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Santa Ana and others in Orange County.
RACES is the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service that was established by the Federal Government to assist governmental Civil Defense agencies.
ARES is the Amateur Radio Civil Emergency Service founded by the
Amateur Radio Relay League to assist non-governmental groups with emergency communications.
CERT classes scheduled to begin in February are now being planned. If you were unable to sign up for our last CERT training classes, take advantage of the opportunity now.
