Membership

MEMBERSHIP is open to anyone age 18 or over, who possesses a Valid Amateur Radio License, who lives within a reasonable commuting distance of the City of Santa Ana, and has a sincere desire to assist others in time of need.

AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP is available to those without licenses, such as CERT who can assist with logistical and support functions.

CERT

The Community Emergency Response Team program trains people in disaster preparedness in response to local emergencies. Volunteers may assist police, fire, and other first respnders in major emergencies.

SART
Meetings and Net


SART NET:
SART Members Meet via a Ham Radio Net on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Frequencies used are 447.540 or on 144.330 if the normal frequency is not available.

If you are an Amateur Radio operator, you are encouraged to check in with us as a guest.

GENERAL MEETING:
In addition, members attend a general meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 6:45 pm at the Santa Ana Public Works Administration building, 220 S. Daisy, Santa Ana, CA.

TRAINING MEETING:
Training Meetings are held on odd months at 6:45 pm at the same facility.
